My one resolution for 2026/Life: I'm 100% quit of the AAA games industry. It's no longer worth investing in their product vs the ever-batshit-increasing costs to run the (usually-mid, anyway) product. Also

I had to look up why they typically build data centers so flat and wide and sprawling, and yeah there are solid, valid, physics-based reasons as to why they do that, that truly have nothing at all to do with "it would be very difficult for average civvies to carpet bomb them" (I was shocked)

GenAI. Too easy to exploit, & the temptation is too high. We live in the most low-trust era in living memory, & people dancing on their toes about the tech, want us to believe 100% in "the honor system" when they say "we're only gonna use it like for one thing dude"
