So these two trends—AI as smokescreen for management's ulterior motives/misplaced belief in its hype, and AI as an automation system for producing cheap knockoff art and writing (at the expense of artists and writers)—are what I think are the biggest impacts of AI on jobs so far.

So these two trends—AI as smokescreen for management's ulterior motives/misplaced belief in its hype, and AI as an automation system for producing cheap knockoff art and writing (at the expense of artists and writers)—are what I think are the biggest impacts of AI on jobs so far.

There's a whole generation that learned irony before sincerity and now they're trapped. Can't be earnest without a layer of self-deprecation. Can't be enthusiastic without signaling awareness of how cringe enthusiasm is.

I had decided to keep this setting on because engagement farming certainly sounds like just spam, but this skeet informs me that it may filter things I don't want filtered.

Just to note, as well, that by default, "Engagement farming" is switched to "hide", which is all fine until you realize that posting several times a day apparently makes you insincere and fake.
If you feel like your engagement has dropped, it's possible this is why.
