SWEEPS ARE VIOLENCE.
This past month, on September 3rd and September 19th, the State spent tens of thousands of your tax dollars to steal and destroy the basic survival items that our poorest neighbors need the most.

Warm Up Boston loves education! We just finished reading We Do This Till We Free Us by Mariame Kaba and met four times to discuss the book, abolition, and how Kaba’s writings apply to the work we do.

This week at the encampment we handed out chili with cornbread, tents, blankets, socks, and more. On our mobile route, we gave out sandwiches, toiletries, gloves, hats, socks, hot drinks, and more. On both distros, we always hand out harm reduction supplies. (1/6)

If you have been sick or exposed to an ill person, stay home. Refreshments may be consumed outside. It will be drafty inside the building. Please dress warm! We will have a limited number of hand warmers and hot drinks. A little sticker of the same banner as before. While we prepare for our mass meeting and increase our time spent organizing, our twice-weekly distributions do not waver, even in freezing rain. We bring hot meals, water, harm reduction, wound care, snacks, and survival supplies to the encampment every week.

On the darkest, coldest days of the year we’ve continued to distribute hats, gloves, socks, hoodies, coats, blankets, hand warmers, hot meals and hot coffee+hot chocolate every week downtown and at the encampment. Anything we can do to warm up our neighbors.
