Hamilton Water will be repairing a critical watermain on Charlton Ave W on Feb 3 & 4, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Charlton Ave W (Hess St S to Queen St S) will be closed & there will be lane restrictions on Queen St S from Herkimer St to Robinson St.

⚠️Notice of Upcoming Lane Closure⚠️

The westbound lane of the Queen St Hill (Beckett Dr) will be closed on Friday, Jan 30, 2026, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a guide rail repair. Rain date is Feb 2, 2026.

Flaggers will be on-site to allow for two-way traffic. Expect delays and consider an alternate route.

Elected officials shouldn’t have the power to vote against traffic signals or lower speed limits. I don’t think this because I don’t believe in democracy; I think this because I believe in evidence-based placemaking & city-building. Safer streets shouldn’t be situational or left up to a vote.

Churchill Park Master Plan Phase 3
Phase 3 construction works in early November, with the primary focus of completing the north staircase at Parkside Dr & Kipling Rd before winter. Work on other sections of the project may progress over the winter, weather depending.

Hamilton Water (HW) is currently addressing a watermain break on Aberdeen, east side of Cottage Ave. To facilitate the necessary repairs, traffic restrictions will be in place on Aberdeen Ave between Cottage Ave and Mountain Ave, with traffic reduced to one lane in each direction (East/West).
