Primary school children should be able to walk to school safely & independently. Road danger reduction has been raised with our local Labour councillors repeatedly, but it's not a nettle they are willing to grasp. With a little thought & care, we will make our streets safer for everyone.

Car ownership in Wandle Ward is falling (slowly). With a surplus of kerbside in the ward, cycle hangars provide excellent secure cycle parking for those who cannot easily keep a cycle at home. For more information: www.wandsworth.gov.uk/residential-...

Our ambition at the Wandle Independent Group is to build a local coalition where residents are heard, empowered and can collectively create a shared long term vision for the place we all call home. We need to step above the outdated adversarial politics between the main national parties (Exhibit A).
