Literally the only sex reassignment surgeries that are happening to children are happening to intersex kids. Maybe focus on getting those to stop along with circumcision, then we’ll take y’all serious when you say “protect kids”. Otherwise, shhhh.

My old church said God wanted us to be male or female, and intersex conditions are evidence of a fallen sinful world (people sinning -> more “deformities”). It was the same way they explained why disease exists if God is good.
I'm always wanting someone to ask these people what their "theology" is on folks who are intersex. If humans are all "created by God," surely that's evidence that it's not all binary/black-and- white?

Also it’s “intersex mutilation,” not “corrective treatment.” I didn’t need correcting and no one asked me if I wanted it.
It’s “intersex,” not “DSD.” It’s “intersex,” not “biologically nonbinary.” It’s “intersex,” not “cis with a disorder.”
