Just put out the garbage and was almost knocked down by that stiff cold wind. That's killed any urge for a walk, even though it's blue skies out there!

Have been batch cooking again, so here is a very tasty chicken stew, avoiding garlic, onions, spicy peppers & red meat as I need to remove all of that from my diet. This is the first time I've cooked with Hing/Asafoetida, which is meant to replace onion and garlic, and the smell and taste is AMAZING

This is the first time I've seen Mike Wozniak's act, and I've never seen anything like it. Very very clever random gibberish, incredibly funny, the type of humour which always catches you off-guard.

Base: lentils stewed with onions and celery and vegetable stock. Mixed with roasted mixed root veg.
Variations:
Moroccan-style Tagine
Smokey Bean Chilli
Thai-style Coconut Curry
Cottage Pie filling.

Experimenting with making unleavened bread. This one was cooked on the stove-top, but the dough was too wet, didn't have salt, and was fried in too much oil. Tasted nice, though, nice thin crust skin, but doughy middle. Will tweak recipe.

Homemade potato wedges. Kinda a cross between jacket potatoes, roast potatoes and wedges - each wedge is HUGE....
