Trump just announced that the US will attempt to run Venezuela. He is taking us into a war. As a Marine Corps veteran, I am disgusted by this unlawful, criminal, and immoral invasion. By consulting with experts in First Amendment law and journalism ethics, I intend to have a bill that would impose hefty fines and penalties on those responsible for misleading the public while still preserving 1st Amendment protections.
