@wafflesmogumogu.bsky.social has done an amazing job documenting a lot of the broad strokes, and her work is the basis for a lot of mine, but there are still so many little things like that that i have pretty much nailed down

Fun fact: In all releases of Pikmin 2, all characters that appear on the end of day mail screen use the same sound for the mail jingle, with the exception of the President.
This was an oversight, and in fact all characters were intended to have their own unique mail jingle sounds.
