I already love the Switch 2 so thoroughly more than the Switch it's insane. The original was Disappointment City for me, but all of the major titles I've played on the 2 so far have been so creative, so bold, so exciting, and so goddamn amazingly fun. Expensive or not, this is the Nintendo I love.

PlayStation released an advent calendar where you can earn tickets via daily quests like watching an AD, you can use the tickets to enter a lottery to win games, controllers, etc. They also have free stuff like avatars which seem to be Ai generated.

I just tried the Switch port of Crash 4 for the first time, and MAN. I had heard this was one of those miracle ports that runs amazingly well, and like, no no no no no. Holy shit, it is so bad. I'm on Switch 2 and it's genuinely kind of painful. I can't even successfully slide-spin. Ouch.

I will never get over Mario Tennis Aces making you choose a court by DE-selecting all the courts you DON'T want to play. I will die completely baffled that anyone even came up with that, let alone that it made it to shelves and through 47 updates that way.

I'm still in shock at how little pushback there was at Sony literally remoting into your console and removing Concord without your permission. I mean, it's Concord, so lol, but man. Pretty dystopian. Everyone was too busy being mad at Nintendo for making a product and putting a price on it, I guess.

Bought Ninja Gaiden online, store decided to ship it using OnTrac, shitass OnTrac driver literally threw the package from their car window towards my place, destroying the game case inside. Very cool!

I've said this regarding game design many times, but now that AI is becoming so omnipresent and so many people are using it day-to-day, it feels more broadly applicable than ever before.
Maybe you shouldn't always have exactly what you want exactly when you want it as easily as possible.

Just spent like an hour trying to do a trick in Crash 2, but just could not get it to work for some reason. Come to find out I had overclocking enabled for some CTR mods I was messing with months ago, I try turning it off and land the trick instantly on the first try. Pain.

I'm gonna be pointing back to Overwatch for the rest of my life in reference to a Balanced Game not being the same as a Good Game. That game was so much goddamn fun when it was a chaotic, unbalanced nightmare. It's much better competitively now, but likewise much more boring.

Look man I know everyone needs to get their bag or whatever but I absolutely judge people for using monetization-safe replacement words. I cannot imagine just rolling over for the absurd idea that words like "kill" are off-limits. Any machine that tries to tell me I can't say a word can kill itself.
