If earth ran on discworld rules/magic, our most powerful deities would be corporate mascots :| just think about how much human effort is dedicated to that winged-mammal male superhero. Or the arachnid one.

It's crazy how deeply I now love the human-ness of bad art. The effort to summon something from inside yourself though a medium. Look at that broken elbow. Foreshortening is a rite of passage. Face in absolute profile. Claw hands. And yet, enough magic to convey an intention.
