Evergreen represents strength and endurance, standing strong even in winter. The little fox here is asleep in a quiet forest, surrounded by evergreen. A bit of magic waiting to awaken

Koi are beautiful fish that are known to swim strongly against currents, symbolizing strength in life’s challenges.
Koi fish, especially orange koi, have long been symbols of good fortune and courage, both enduring and persevering over time. #botanicalart #pottery #art

Can you see a galaxy in a single leaf? Sometimes we don’t stop to look closely at the gorgeous complexity of a simple leaf (& often flowers take center stage). A leaf is common in nature yet has a miraculous beauty that is anything but common. #Ceramic #leaf dish with real gold. #pottery #art

“She sprouted love like flowers,
Grew a garden her mind,
And even on the darkest days,
From her smile the sun still shined.” (E.Hansen)

Hearts symbolize love, courage, and connection. Here I used the heart-shaped leaf of the Rock Fig. This plant grows in the harsh dry desert, but thrives beautifully nonetheless. I love the symbolism of this leaf and plant, that love can overcome anything. #heartshaped #ceramics #pottery #love

Sharing moments in the process of creating a piece with nasturtium leaves. The dish is kiln fired ceramic with accents of real gold. I love the intricate detail of these beautiful leaves (they are not naturally heart shaped but I trimmed them into tiny hearts)

Nasturtium leaves are often thought of as ordinary, but they really have extraordinary beauty. Here I trimmed them into little hearts and pressed the leaves into ceramic clay. This dish is kiln fired pottery with a touch of real gold
