BTW, I hope everyone understands that "did not immediately respond to requests for comment" in any news story is as literal as it sounds. They wouldn't phrase it that way if they actually gave anyone time to respond.

There's something really special about Brody King being vocally anti-ICE and finding a reservoir of support from AEW fans and personnel. In any other time or place, he may have been blacklisted forever. Not sure how people can be annoyed by this. Its the perfect use of our free speech rights.

It’s not just that the “Fuck ICE” chants happened.
It’s that everyone involved - the performers, the commentators, production - seemed to make a collective decision in the moment to let it breathe and be the story of the moment.

One thing this shines a light on is just how much damage the fed has done to wrestlings image on a larger scale. So many people are saying "the right lost wrestling" but thats based on 30+ yrs of outdated tropes and stereotypes. The right never had AEW. 🤼

I love AEW. Tonight I was in pain, trying to recover from a depression episode, I'm still running on 2 hrs sleep (I'll sleep soon haha), but after the main event, I feel so alive.

I love AEW. Tonight I was in pain, trying to recover from a depression episode, I'm still running on 2 hrs sleep (I'll sleep soon haha), but after the main event, I feel so alive.
