I did it! I beat the finale level of baba is you, with 191 levels completed in total. I still have a fair few of the very difficult/hidden levels left, but I am very pleased with myself 🌻🦊🌷

had a good, long night of dancing in vr; it's so centering to feel the shift from people dancing and enjoying themselves, to winding down and philosophizing on what it means to be present and how we express and celebrate our identities. we're all a bunch of animals here but nothing feels more human

we DO have switch 2 at home! 🦊🎮 this is my modded OLED running lineageOS android, using the moonlight streaming client to stream fortnite from my desktop at 1440p 60fps. the frame pacing and latency are fantastic (though perhaps difficult to tell from a 30fps video). now any game can be handheld 🦊👍

it works! I didn't damage my switch by drilling into the PCB, and my method for relocating the status LED to the light sensor port worked as well. result 🦊👍

a PSA for fortnite's winterfest: the daily presents don't seem to stack this year.. starting today until Jan. 5th, you can redeem one per day, resetting at 9 AM ET. glacial dummy unlocks after 7, and cheeks the hamster unlocks after 13. the mobile version can be used to redeem if you are travelling

I've mentioned that the modchip install process for the OLED switch is quite exacting; two of the necessary signal lines are obfuscated, with one method requiring drilling into the PCB and cutting away part of the CPU shield frame to get at sub-millimeter targets.. very delicate and risky work

some fix fox fun today; I am workshopping a method to relocate a modchip's status LED to the light sensor port on the OLED switch. for testing the RGB LED is just getting random data to turn on white, but since it turned on at all I think it will work 🦊👍 not a super useful mod, but a fun one hehe

after my way over odds shiny stunky hunt recently (and another way over odds hunt that I haven't mentioned yet..), I wanted to take a break and go for a shiny I wanted back when pokemon sword and shield first came out.. a shiny nickit! 🦊 and I found her in only 310 encounters!

not exactly a fox fix today.. this switch was booting to a black screen, and I found that somehow the firmware update fuses were overburnt. the os checks the number of burnt fuses to prevent downgrading.. so, this unit is technically functional, but it can't boot without a modchip until like 2029
