After a good talk with my wrist doctor, we both agree that surgery is the best course of action.
It'll be a long process, but given my age and the fact we caught it early, it's better than seeing if nature takes its course and 10 years later I'm in a far worse spot.
So, next step: booking surgery.

Everyone has that one piece of media that makes them irrationally upset despite being, for all intents and purposes, just okay.

So, doctor visit reconfirmed my suspicions about my wrist.
I can either leave it as is, let it heal on its own and try a cast (or keep using my brace), and all but guarantee arthritis in 10-30 years, or get surgery, which MIGHT lead to arthritis and will result in pins in my arm for 3 months.
