Digital control of feedback phase to control radiation damping in water: a project I started from level zero and finally completed. Now the Bruker AU program is capable of finding the radiation damping suppression phase fully automatically.

Finally, the 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC714) is working. In a few weeks, Bruker Topspin will take control of the DAC via FPGA (UART and SPI). And then the phase shifter of the radiation damping control unit.

The FPGA programming is completed for controlling a voltage-controlled phase shifter via a 16-bit DAC (DAC714) using SPI for a digitalized radiation damping control unit for doing feedback-based Maser/Raser experiments.

PyOR is making small steps to do solid-state NMR. Look at this example about dipolar Hamiltonian and interaction tensor, Euler and Wigner rotation, and Wigner matrix. If you find something is wrong write to me. #NMR #NMRchat

It was worth building a 285 MHz resonator to spin the protons at 1.2 K for an extended period. NMR Maser from frozen water via DNP. #NMR #NMRchat

I have attended all summer schools (2020, 2023 to 2025) at Schloss Windischleuba (a beautiful castle) in Germany, organized by Jörg Matysik (Uni. of Leipzig). These schools have been my only classroom experience in learning NMR. Feel free to explore them yourself.

I have added two functions, StateZeeman and States (if any coupled pair is present) to PyOR Quantum. Here is a tutorial for a 3-spin system in which any pairs are coupled. (Like PyOR Mag Res, PyoR Quantum supports an arbitrary spin system).

PyOR is divided into two (Like an "Amoeba"), PyOR Magnetic Resonance (PyOR original) and PyOR Quantum (for physics audience, still in development). Here is an example of a spin half system (Schrödinger Eq. and Liouville-von Neumann equation. #NMR #NMRchat

I was thinking of using the Bruker AU program to communicate with a wide range of instruments during my PhD days onwards. Today I established communication with an oscilloscope via "visa", a small move but may (will) be helpful for many NMR instrumentation people
