So here's an overdue update on the game. I did run a couple of playtest sessions which did result in some changes to the book. Beyond that, I've just yesterday commissioned a few more illustrations and one surprise which will roll out with the digital release.

Here's a fun bit of trivia. VStream RPG is not the first roleplaying game about vtubers. I know of two earlier games. Specifically, take a gander sometime at a wonderful little free game on DriveThruRPG titled "VKiller." It's a game about streamers at a convention, and there's a serial killer.

I've took a break from the social media blitz due to what's happening in the English-speaking vtuber space yesterday & today. I do have some rare good news to share now.

The Backerkit campaign has broken even! We are in now in the black ink!

I'm supposed to be building hype for the game right now, but the English speaking vtuber space kind of got rocked today with a scandal. It no longer feels appropriate to plug. Instead, I'm encouraging anyone reading this to follow your favorite streamer on this platform (or another).

Would gamers feel more interested in a subreddit or a Discord server for a new game? I'm leaning towards Discord, but Reddit would make support and materials much easier for outsiders to find.

The VStreamRPG pitch video actually got uploaded to Youtube twice. Once was on a channel with TTRPG content and the other on a channel which usually hosts vtuber content.

I have a very slight update on the VStream RPG crowdfunding project. The project is still under review by Backerkit. It cannot accept pledges until approved in this review process, and Backerkit seems to only do that on business days.

The campaign goes live on Backerkit in about five hours.
