I’m participating in #MarchtoCamelot, and the first prompt is Hunt. If you’ve not had the pleasure, please meet my friend/tame writer/Arthuriana expert @knightsalvage.bsky.social, my partner in this venture.

On the left, the following text: A hunt had been Lancelot’s proposal, spoken in his blunt, halting way. Since Gawain had laid eyes on the Flower of Chivalry, he knew the knight to be his match. In the full light of day, when the sun is high and strong and his strength is at its peak, Gawain can meet him blow-for-blow; but at dusk, Lancelot often surpasses him in arms. But the Gawain’s domain. I may never match him in arms, thinks Gawain, lifting his bow. Therefore I must love him.
