For fuck's sake: This. I'm not even really for parental controls tbh. However, the rest of us shouldn't have to suffer bcaz people cannot be bothered to do something that takes 20 minutes top one time; on all devices. You did the thing. You had one. It's on you to guardrail your own spawn. Not mine.
When calling my reps, I think it's just as important to push for "parental responsibility" alongside saying no to KOSA/SCREEN/IODA

nothing is stopping parents from installing web nanny software, nothing is stopping parents from buying their kids flipphones instead of smartphones. Nothing is stopping parents from doing the job of being a parent.
