Okay troublemakers, punks, antifa supervillains, and anyone who just enjoys being a petty little shitbird while they fuck up the algorithm of a massive media corp. Here's your assignment for the weekend. Get on it and spread the word.

just not with the same depth and intensity as over the past few years. And I’ll keep helping maintain wdi5 - you don’t abandon your kids, do you :)

Huge thanks to everyone in the SAP Mentor community for all the chances to push SAP tech a bit further than the slideware. Good times. (3/3)

Given how Camunda tends to show up in various analyst reports and comparisons, it also felt wise to avoid any perceived conflicts of interest on the workflow side of things (insert analyst BOAT quad here :) ).

I’m still very much in the SAP world: I’ll keep using UI5 and CAP (2/3)

Time for a small update: as of last week, my time as an SAP Mentor has come to an end.

No drama, no backroom story, no scandal. The ecosystem moved on, my role at Camunda evolved, and at some point those paths just don’t overlap the way they used to. (1/3)

We had trouble with our publishing process to npmjs.com b/c of the elevated security principles GitHub enforced (which is a good thing!).
This is fixed now, and v3.0.7 is live.
The publishing process now uses the most secure OIDC-based "trusted publishing", including provenance.
Happy testing!

In 2026, I’ll start writing more on process-driven software architecture.

Connecting high-level architecture w/ implementation topics like idempotency, asynchronicity, and parallelism in enterprise systems, and how "AI agents" fit into that.

Happy Holidays and a great start into 2026! 🎆

I like and frequently use "418 - I'm a teapot" as the last fallback error response on client request weirdness 😬😅

I obviously should like the "nerd" angle for reasons, but it really is like that: I learned quite some from agent interactions, fex elaborate mvn cmd line options!

Well, LLM or not: two things will remain true: it's mostly always DNS 🫠, or a caching thing 😬, or an off by one error 🤙

haha, posted about just the same 👍

very interesting piece from JS Grandmaster Nolan Lawson: LLMs are so good in generating small commodity libs (b/c trained on the very same) that you can loose the dependency. Downside: a zillionitude of .toBase64() and the like to flood codebases.
