I did the Rewind on Linkedin. Thank you to all who have been following me for a while.

Really much appreciated!

I'm old on LinkedIn, but I started this year to be more active and post content — hopefully bringing value to the community as much as I can.

I wish everyone a nice holiday!!!

—> I do believe that after 5-7 years of hard experience in the software industry, you are a senior.

Software engineering as an expert means:
—can you do the job without mentoring, and if you have blockers do you have the ability to find the proper solutions by yourself?

There's no shortcut to success.

The ones that sell that shortcut idea, only fools believe, and others profit.

Keep crushing it.

🫴 Always persuade your client to adhere to quality!

It's not an excuse to lower your standards just because of outside circumstances.

🧑‍💻 A successful metric isn't that someone "hacked" the LeetCode interview...

A successful metric means that someone is able to deliver high-quality software from A to Z at the highest IMPACT.

💯 The metric of success isn't how many commits one can make.

The metric of success should be the success of the project.

This platform is interesting.

On X took me ~1 year to get from ~30 to ~180 followers.

On Threads took me like ~4 months from 0 to ~200 followers.

On Linkedin took me almost 1 year to get from ~1k to 4k+ followers.

Here, from 0 to ~130 in 2 days. 😅

🏔 I do think that after you master one field, it becomes easier to add more tech stacks under your belt.

— I started with Java Android and worked on it for years.
— I wanted to switch to iOS because of a better ecosystem.

...

In the end, I ended up doing Android and iOS native.

🧢 I don't get it why some developers were complaining about IDE.

Actually I've been working with more than one IDE.

For Mobile, I've worked with all of them, sometimes simultaneously:
- Android Studio
- IntelliJ
- Xcode
- VSCode

✋ When someone say: "I can try."

That's a total waste of time and failure.

Either is already done, either it's just plain words.

Action leads to results.

Overthinking kills your ambition day by day.

Measurements of success and progressive iteration is the way to go.

Not sure what we are doing here, but I guess a new platform, a new beginning.

Let's see where it goes. 🙃
