Why do I need to use OBS in order to show my animations, when can I post GIFs here?

It's been 2 months since I started learning how to make #pixelart I wanted to post progress somewhere, guess I'll throw it here
This is my best work yet, although I tried to copy the art that I randomly saw, it was posted without the credits so i don't know who is the author of the original art is
