I try to be a relentless optimist, but it’s darn hard sometimes
I went to The Bristol Hippodrome last night to watch #DEHUKTOUR with my daughter. We emerged broken, and then I went home to write about it for 365 Bristol. You can read my review here: 365bristol.com/story/2025/0...
Review: Dear Evan Hansen at The Bristol Hippodrome
Dear Evan Hansen… you’ve broken me… you’ve broken my daughter… but we’ll forgive you, because you’re more than enough, you’re brilliant. I don’t know too much about this show before watching tonight...

Can’t stop thinking about yesterday’s lunch at #HarveyNichols in #Bristol. I can’t choose a favourite course, each one was delicious. (Artichoke ravioli, guinea fowl, panna cotta). 10/10 would recommend.

With my Broadmead BID hat on, I was very lucky to get a sneak peek last night at some of the @aardman.bsky.social sculptures that will fill Bristol next summer for The Grand Appeal’s Gromit Unleashed 3 trail. It’s going to be great :)

A couple of blue sky photos for my first Bluesky Saturday. These were taken in Helsinki in September, a place where when the sky is blue, it’s really blue. (On my previous visit, I discovered it’s also a place where when it rains, it really rains!)
