The hogback ridges around #Gallup are a geological formation with a steep western escarpment and a gentler eastern slope. This long, narrow ridge is a prominent feature of the high desert landscape and is part of a larger series of hogbacks extending from Wyoming to #NewMexico.

The crown jewel of We the People Park is a 110-foot long, 8-foot tall, steel wall of silhouettes. The sculpture was created by Armando Alvarez to represent "free speech, pluralism, democracy, and our coexistence with the environment."

Third Mesa is the most challenging trail in the High Desert Trail System, featuring over 6 miles of technical riding with bedrock, switchbacks, and ramps. It is a popular blue singletrack trail that is part of the larger network of trails north of Gallup.
