I try to avoid speaking to, or even looking in the general direction of, women in public anymore. There are just too many stories and examples of how afraid of us women are all the time. Who wants to be that guy? Good news, they don’t seem to notice the change.

Opinion | The left is paying a high price for getting men wrong — Newsweek
The left is losing young men. The 15 percent increase in support for Trump among Gen Z men in the 2024 election—compared to 2020—appears to have persisted in recent polling. The shift reflects a broad...

I completed my MPA degree twelve years ago. That sorta comes with some obligation to follow the political news cycle. Problem is that these days, it’s generally the same story that can be boiled down into four words: “Idiots idiot, no consequences.” Lather, rinse, repeat. 🙄

I completed this Hello Kitty piece back in mid-December for a teammate at work who wanted it for her 11-year old daughter. Waited to post until the daughter gave permission to share. Mom asked for it to be pink and “girly,” so don’t blame the artist for gender-stereotyping color schemes:

I’ve made a bit of progress glassing my impending Calvin and Hobbs art piece. Private use only, of course, I don’t intend to make money off of it:

I guess this guy has a bit of an Everyman vibe to his messaging, but what he’s saying isn’t novel. Alienation from our evolution has been discussed by esteemed minds in past centuries, including Confucius, Marx, Durkheim and Erich Fromm. Maybe a contemporary voice?

I started making art in 2022, after telling myself for decades that I had no talent, and only people with talent could be artistic. I finally got it through my thick skull that the difference between those who do art and those who don’t isn’t talent; it’s *priority*. Seasonal pieces here:
