As of 3 years ago today, the first 4 page of Portals: The Arrival were released. To celebrate this day and to end this string of posts, I am sharing 3 character sheets made from 2020-2022, 2 of which never being previously seen.

As of yesterday, Portals: The Arrival's first page turned 3 years old. To celebrate, I will be sharing several pieces of Portals history, starting with the promo art. The art for the cancelled 2021 comic, and an unused artwork for the 2022 comic we currently have.

The first of the two promotional artworks, originally released alongside a character sheet at the very end of 2020. It depicts a close up shot of the Portals logo out in a grassy field, focusing in on the "P" and "O", whilst also showing "The Arrival" subtitle beneath it as the point of the promo image was to reveal the full title of the comic. Since then, it has been used as the default Portals social media banner for the past several years. The second of the two promotional artworks, made just before the current cover artwork for the comic. Originally it was supposed to tease the comic, but it didn't get properly used likely due to the several inconsistencies with the artwork. Notably, it refers to Portals: The Arrival as "Portals 1: The Arrival", and the designs for Bob, Larry and the portal are slightly different than how they're depicted in the actual comic.

As of today, Portals: The Arrival has officially turned 3 years old! I got carried away with other things so I won’t post anything today, but like last year, I will post some stuff from the 12th to the 16th in celebration. None of it new, but all cool, I hope.

So I've been wanting to try and figure out the anatomy of my sona a bit more as his design is a bit unconventional, and so I thought a good way to figure that out was to draw him naked... But tastefully. And in grayscale!

So, this is a bit different from what I normally do, but after so long, I finally wanted to draw another furry rabbit. A male rabbit waking up in the morning, stretching.

His whiskers are crooked from the nightly rest. A window can be seen, with the sun rising behind some pine trees, and an alarm clock sits with the time "7:01" displayed on it. The edges of the bed, alarm clock, and walls aren't clearly defined, causing everything aside from the rabbit to blend together, creating a slightly dreamy affect, accentuated by the whole artwork being almost pure white.

So recently to celebrate a special occasion, I made an artwork for my friend who had recently gotten into Deltarune, and he wanted something based on Noelle's early concept design, and Pipis. I obliged.

It's been quite a while since I've drawn Toy Bonnie, as while I like him, I felt the art was getting stale. But I think enough time has passed, and so I throw my hat back into the ring.
