Idk if this is an insane take but if I was to introduce someone to video games for the first time I would suggest they play Celeste. Like yeah the game is hard but there's very little punishment for failing, and the learning curve isn't very steep . It has Simple controls, and a simple concept

WE JUST HIT OUR 4TH STRETCH GOAL 🥳
We now have the funds to hire an additional animator! We will announce who it is soon after the campaign is over :)
Now we're probably not going to hit the next goal, but know that any amount we get past 145K will of course result in us getting paid more!
