A work in progress shot of an illustration of recombinant Miles Quaritch and original character Branka, a replicant psycher. Both wear calm but observant expressions. In appearance, Quaritch is excessively tall, muscular and blue. Here, he sits with Branka between his legs, expression observant. He has his knee lifted and Branka has her hand placed on the top of the kneepads he wears as part of his fatigues. His hair is the stereotypical high & tight that is often seen worn by military men. Branka is generously bodied, her back facing the viewer yet she's looking back over her shoulder, in the same direction as Quaritch. Her hair is messy and cropped, pulled into a spikey short pony at the back of her head. Just below it is a kind of sheath meant to protect the neural fronds that reach out of the back of her head, akin to a na'vi's queue.

A little WIP of Branka

A work in progress sketch of the original character, Branka, from Chelbizzaro's Avatar AU. It is a crop of the larger illustration and has Procreate's minimal user interface along the top and along the right side. There is a rough sketch layer beside the inked part of the drawing to show process and the background is a light neutral grey. The composition is zoomed in to only show Branka's face, torso, and left arm. She has her hand lifted, fingers relaxed but splayed. Her expression is relaxed but relatively blank as she looks off to the side. Branka is a generously bodied, pale female psycher with cropped, messy light brown hair and dark blue-green eyes. Her corneas are illuminated so it appears as if her pupils are always light. Some kind of sheath is attached to the back of her head.

A digital painting inspired from and by Frank Frazetta and pulp fiction illustrations. The tone is overall a warm orange gold akin to the setting sun on the cliff of an arid desert. There are three individuals in the scene, Recombinant Miles Quaritch, a Pa'li that Quaritch leads, and Branka, a human-ish psycher from Chelbizzaro's au, Simulacra. This setting, however, is one of a fantasy/scifi crossover. The Pa'li, deep and rich in color, is dutifully lead by Miles Quaritch, who instead of his severe high and tight and military fatigues, wears loose leathers around his calves and waist and armor fitting for a pulp setting. In one hand is a sword inspired from his blade in the films. In the other is the Pa'li's lead. Branka sits, bound, while on the back of the Pali, expression one of muted discomfort as her glowing eyes peer out in the direction that Quaritch leads them. She wears little to no clothing but her long, light ash brown hair obscures some. On the pa'li's back haunches are further spoils Quaritch has "found" on his journey.
