I've spent a bit of time along this border. It is quiet and peaceful, full of flowers and birds, and not at all the hellscape that regime propagandists want you to believe.

Nourishing tea this morning ✨ What’s in the press: Fresh homegrown rose petals, dried homegrown calendula flowers and peppermint, dried wildcrafted Spring nettles (from private forest land), and organic dried oat tops harvested in the milky stage. Mineral-rich, anti-inflammatory, and restorative. ✨

It’s going to be the cities and their governments, not the states, that provide the most cohesive resistance, I think.

The breathtaking & somehow radical simplicity of Robin Wall Kimmerer.

So much of the political & capitalist landscape of 2025 is based on ownership (things & ppl).

Imagine a society based on reciprocity & gratitude instead of ownership.

Who is telling us that this is radical?

This beautiful and inspiring little book surely has some good serviceberry content, but it’s also about envisioning a world where competition and hoarding aren’t the guiding principles. Highly recommended, particularly at this moment in time.
