I noticed some interesting things with the Poison (extended cut) scene in relation to poison, the most important being the first ss clearly takes place before the end of poison, Val is notably upset and is saliva-less, Angel is drooling what seems to be Val's saliva?? 🧵

If Val actually hated Angel then he would’ve gone in too and watched it go down. The fact that he stays outside says A LOT 😭 they’re terrible for each other but there is absolutely a part of both of them that genuinely cares for each other and aghhh it’s so good

something that always bothered me in season 1 is that val seemed... blase about angel's absence after episode 4. like one second he's beside himself, howling about how angel has moved out, and the next he's utterly unbothered - even during the battle at the hotel, which never made any sense.
