How do contemporary artists carry Indigenous tradition forward? We took a trip to The NMAI in NYC to see Clearly Indigenous and Ancestral Connections, featuring 130 artists from 26+ Native nations. The exhibitions trace how artists expand ancestral knowledge through new mediums like clay and glass.
