It’s actually so insane that my uni thinks it’s acceptable to give me a 2 month long directing module focused on producing an entire theatrical concept for our chosen script, only to be able to show 3 minutes of it in my PowerPoint (the essay is on my reflection, not my directing 💔).

Writing about nineteenth century political censorship sounds all well and good until you realise I’m writing about how the police would ban theatre performances because a woman seems “too dominant”and might bring the woke liberal harlots to rioting (all sarcasm. It just related weirdly to today).

One thing I love about the Vander/Silcoflashback was the demonstration of platonic love towards Felicia. It was refreshing to see a healthy friend dynamic instead of the two men fawning for one woman trope. Honestly their entire depiction was gorgeous :’)
