the reason why apollo knew that nile was gonna fall through and end up in whitespace is because apollo herself witnessed pentam witnessing nile just before nile disappeared, again, which caused pentam to create nile in the otherworld (lighthouse place), (pentam is hourglass)

a supernova, an itch, the lighthouse light making one full rotation, the fence breaking and a uh, a rip in spacetime just below where nile was supposed to fall. but that leads to a temporal paradox where nile inadvertently created himself due to pentam witnessing nile inside of whitespace

basically the prologue is; these two guys, hourglass n nile r basically the "gods" of this world they have, hourglass wanted 2 show nile this lighthouse he made and then nile fell due to hourglass not securing the railing properly, and at that exact moment like a bunch of things happened such as;

panels 3-4 contain "whitespace" it's basically like the waiting room between life n death. there was supposed to be a panel between 3 and 4 but i was lazy, in panel 4, it's after nile fell from the lighthouse, the panel between 3-4 was supposed to be nile falling but i couldn't muster up motivation
