My PhD student Laura Baiocco received the RaAM research award this year, to conduct research on metaphor comprehension in patients with primary progressive aphasia! Many congrats!

New paper on emotional language and healthy aging! When reading words in sentences, older adults (OA) used emotional context to change positive words more, and younger adults (YA) used emotional context context to change negative words more.

New paper from our lab showed that reading emotional metaphors taxes on both more emotional and more semantic neural resources than reading emotional literal sentences.
