I’m Vibanib (aka: Vibnib/ Vi)

I am a multimedia artist with illustrations ranging from #traditionalart, #digitalart, #pixelart, and #clay.

An example of several of the most common ways I like to draw digitally, from sketchy to fluffy to crunchy to oily to pixelated. Sometimes I draw one way and sometimes my art is an amalgamation of all of them at once! I’m also always finding new ways to draw so keep in mind that it all just depends on my mood, really. It’s not an all inclusive chart, but definitely a preview of my flexibility. Each version of my persona here is saying happy Valentine’s Day (Valen’s Day). This was a small little project I did in 2022 because I wanted to let people know that I don’t always draw in one particular way. The thing is, I actually did start conceptualizing sketches for my 6chara challenge this year, but then I just got nervous. This isn’t what I’m going for with Chun-Li, but I liked this sketch.

Chun-Li but she looked like this because she reminded me of a faerie. She’s resting her head against her palm while she’s swirling imaginary circles on a surface. She’s also wear a big pointy hat; the kind princess or faeries, or women of more historic times and fairytales might have worn. It ends with a long ribbon that drapes behind her.

My first character from the 6-Fanarts Challenge: Fighting Characters edition 1/6. I finally finished this earlier today!

A landing victory for Chun-Li with a smile for the occasion and the park fountain as her background. I was really nervous about started this one but I’m glad I did. ⋆˚⟡˖ ࣪ I had originally planned to do this challenge a few years back. My rules for this it this time around are that I have to do most of the illustration in watercolor and ink because that’s what people voted on and to do full body poses with backgrounds that compliment them because I those are areas I’m not that confident in. Uploads for this series won’t be active or consistent because of how large I’ll be painting these they’ll take me longer than usual, but please wait for me as I eventually get these done. I went for a somewhat exaggerated pose because I thought it would be fun. I was trying to come up with a dynamic pose that was a little playful and tried to play around with cloth since folds are still kind of confusing to me. I’m very proud of how this one turned out. Shoutout to sunflower_sosa on insta for the character recommendation.

Little tweaks and ✨BONUS✨
