Can anyone point me in the direction of an idiot proof video on turning a heel using short rows and wrap and turn and then working the instep on 3 needles? I am about to re-start this sock for the 3rd time. I will not let it break me 😅

Just entered the Great North Run ballot…Forgetting that when I did it last year I spent the whole 13 miles regretting every single decision that had got me to that start line. Now very much relying on the Universe not to pick me.

Day 8 of “The Lurgy”. I now have enough types of decongestants, tissues, throat lozenges, inhalers and powders to start my own chemist. I’m running out of box sets to watch, there is a vickishaped dent in the sofa and we have been designated a plague house.

Middle age sucks. Sleeping funny has broken me. Woke up in the night with a literal pain in the arse. Moving about has done nothing except give me pain all around the top of my leg. What’s more, I’ve got my fierce, 11month old crawling, cruising grand-daughter arriving today 😅😬😭

Husband is a bit “corporate”. Got a huge Fortnum and whatnot hamper yesterday from someone. Lots of tins and weird shit. Very pretty tins. But a lot of them. And what are Marzipan Fruit or Chicken Rillettes? There wasn’t a mince pie in sight 😳
