I don’t know if this is a controversial take, but this is exactly why I am in favor of having more auteurs in game production. I feel we need more creative leads with a passionate clear vision that know exactly what they want.
No studio will ever generate 4 options and be like one of these is perfect. They will generate hundreds/thousands driving up executive indecision and take just as long. The actual problem is not how long artist take, its leadership not knowing exactly what they want. AI will not solve that.
Capcom is another studio embracing gen-ai sadly. Popular titles include: Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Okami, Street Fighter, Ace Attorney, Devil May Cry, and Mega Man. -y

Started Absolute Batman on the comics side and re-reading One Piece on the manga side ☺️
One of my goals for this year is to spend less time on worthless content and consume more art that brings joy and value to my life. I used to read so many more comics/manga, watch more films play more games and I’ve slowly replaced all of that with way too much social media usage.
