Sketching a pit viper next. My goal last year was to try paint more scaled animals like fish and snakes and did not accomplish that due to changes at my day job. But boy, learning how detailed I should or should not get with the sketch will be hard.

The thing I really hate right now in the wake of AI is trying to find reference photos of animals but half the Google search results are AI generated.

The other day I made my first ever attempt at macarons after much planning and research to get them right. And I gotta say for a first attempt? Not half bad. Pretty proud of these. Definitely have some room for improvement but definitely passable macarons.
