Haaahahaha I literally dreamed last night that my latest story on deviantArt got removed due to a policy violation and that there were two additional notes striking the accompanying art from storage.

Wild to me that anyone thought this was ever tasteful or okay (I'm sure some people, even a lot of people, were being deliberately horrible, and yet...) to do.
Setting aside the personal issues though, it's also awful to try and drag the dead back out because it stifles new talent.

i dropped spotify a while back. moved all the music over to a different service, but tbh i dont really rely on music streaming anymore. I'd rather drop like 10-20 bucks on an album or two on bandcamp every month and curate my collection that way

I’ve been thinking about this today after spending almost 2 hours trying to draw a single pose sketch of a character… being able to tolerate the frustration and push through when it becomes hard (and it almost always does) is the main trait that you can develop to improve your art
