It's been a bit of a rollercoaster holiday so far. Today is the quietest day I've had in the past week so I thought I'd check in on Bluesky a bit before diving into a game. One thing I love about video games is how they let us escape into another world, even if it's just for a little while.

Damn I can’t imagine being SquareSoft back then and not knowing the crazy amount of fans and critical acclaim they’d receive after this game released then all the good games to follow it leading to now 16 mainline games in the series. ❤️✨

This is so real. People think it's as simple as lifting the bare bones of CT, but it ain't enough. Chrono Trigger is a collaboration of several titans in the industry, you can't just copy it by lifting a few things. You need top everything to even come close.
a lot of people try to copy Chrono Trigger without understanding that to copy Chrono Trigger you have to be firing on all cylinders in every category

Another exciting thing about a new Okami and Onimusha is Capcom is definitely listening when people ask them to bring back old IPs. I think it's only a matter of time until a new Breath of Fire and Dino Crisis come. Definitely the biggest 2 left I think.
