I legit feel bad for nintendo fans. While I've owned a few over the years, it's something I can live without; so, it won't really impact me. That said, I'll miss the next animal crossing.

80 dollars for the new mariokart on switch 2 feels like a dead on arrival move for nintendo. But my next thought was pondering if this is a reaction to mitigate cost increases on the console due to tariffs.

Nintendo Direct coming in to save my mental state this morning with announcements of a new Tamagotchi game, a new Tomodachi Life, a release timeframe for Witchbrook, and a hopefully no further delayed release date for Fantasy Life. All the comfy gaming I've been wanting and more.

I see a lot of talk about supporting independent journalism, and I completely agree with that. However, none of these places address the larger issue of that. I consume a lot of independent journalism. I can afford to toss 5 bucks a month to 10+ different sites but can most people? No.

Crunchyroll sent me a "custom playlist" to watch via email. This was the list. I think picking 6 incredibly popular battle shonen series is probably not a custom list for me. Especially when I rarely watch battle shonen.

I'm a lapsed Formula 1 fan. 2021 really broke me of the habit, where I was previously watching double digit hours of coverage each race week before.

It's been years since I was a regular at my local comic shop. I'd experienced a good bit of super hero burnout across multiple mediums. Not to say there's not plenty of other reading out there aside from capes, but it mostly ended up collateral.
Today, I read Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow. Amazing.

Been playing the mobile Nikki games waiting for this moment since it was announced, and I'm really happy it's here. Infinity Nikki ticks a lot of boxes for my comfy gaming wishlist. Also, discovered my apparent love for dress up games.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was a game I enjoyed in the lead up to Horizon's release. The Complete version has given it new life for me. Enjoying getting new animal friends, furniture, clothes. A nice compliment to all my other comfy gaming. Bonus RV remodel pics.

Just finished my 52nd book for 2024. While it's about half what i read last year, it's still nice that i hit my book a week average goal. The page count's a bit low, and you can tell I had some dead months, but I'm pretty happy regardless. It always feels good to read.
