I have started practicing eyelash extensions on a mannequin, and it is kind of fun. I can now see why people get into pain from doing it, ergonomics are sorely needed.

Someone (me) started facials this week. I did two custom back "facials" and two express facials. I passed my test out, and got 100%. So, I am stoked. Can't wait to attract more clients and try some more advanced facial processes. Go me! 😀

On the night of December 16th my cat Lulu breached the crack in the front door, only held in place by a chain. She was missing for 24 hours, during which I fought my tears and darkest thoughts. Spending the day searching and calling for her. She is safely home, I am grateful she is safe and sound.

My latest #esthetician exam was challenging, including numerous medical terms and information. I passed with an 88%, which was both a relief and a humbling experience. The stress was intense. The next chapter is Diseases and Disorders of the Skin.
