Grotesque. This is less "backsliding into authoritarianism" and more "handing authoritarianism the keys and telling it to get a move on."
Have a think about what this actually means, and what this government appears to believe “subversion” is.

SAG-AFTRA is far from perfect.
Its internal politics range from frustrating to atrocious, the absorption of AFTRA left voice over in the lurch, their fees are exorbitant (but they'll tell you "DON'T YOU WANT TO INVEST IN YOUR CAREEEER?"), and their rules/bylaws need a complete revamping.

Hoyoverse fans are a group that have apparently absorbed enough anticapitalist rhetoric to know that corporate monopolies are bad, but not enough common sense to know that a union "monopolising" an industry is not even remotely the same thing
