When temps drop dangerously low, a strong connection helps Vermonters stay informed/supported.

Check weather alerts, access #telehealth, connect with neighbors, and monitor home safety tools without leaving the house. In extreme cold, #broadband helps us look out for ourselves and each other.

Snow season is here!

Whether you're skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, or just enjoying the view, Vermont tourism is boosted by #broadband. Check the weather, make reservations, find trail maps, and play tourist in your own backyard, or stay home with a movie. High-speed internet makes it possible.

DYK? When you have #broadband, you can unlock #VoIP too, voice calls over the internet, no cell bars required to call loved ones and coordinate pie-emergency fixes before your holiday gathering.

We're grateful for fiber that carries both data and voices. Happy Thanksgiving!

Mental health care can be hard to reach in #Vermont.

Reliable #broadband makes it possible to meet with counselors, join support groups, and access care from home.

Better connectivity means better well-being.

When #broadband reaches rural #Vermont, opportunity follows. Reliable internet helps young people and entrepreneurs put down roots. That grows the workforce, attracts business, and strengthens schools. Connectivity helps our towns thrive.

Fiber vs. Cable vs. DSL

Fiber: Data travels through glass strands, fastest & future proof.

Cable: Coaxial copper cables (cable TV) or hybrid fiber-coax. Shared neighborhood lines = slowdowns at peak hours.

DSL: Old copper telephone wires. Slow speed/speed drops with distance.
