Even if you look at it as a whole text, it contradicts itself several times. There are two versions of the creation in Genesis, and each of the gospels tells a different version of Christ's execution and resurrection. Some of the differences are minor some are major.
To clarify I said you should look at the Bible as a whole text. I’ve not advocated for cherry picking anything. I just said you can’t take it literally as it is allegory.

Maybe if the so-called "harm reduction party" actually tried to reduce the harm instead of just letting it happen then blocking and making excuses for the party that did the harm when anyone tries to fix it.
