Stopped by the flower stall at the market, this morning ... Picking up some sunshine, in flower form and had my regular chat with the stallholder about the #rugby .. After Thursday's win it was a very happy chat & he popped a rose in with my mimosa to wish England luck for later ... Very lovely

Trying to work out how our youngest turns 25 today .. I honestly don't know where the years have gone. He's just qualified as an electrician, and I couldn't be happier for him

The one benefit of Pusscat having settled in with our youngest is that we can now hang some bird food on the terrace ... It's proved rather popular & today has pulled in Siskins and what we now understand to be a Sardinian Warbler too ... I may have sat and watched for far too long

A bit of a long travel day, today from seeing the snow on the mountains beyond Antibes, to the snow on the Pyrenees tonight.... Staying in Carcassonne, ahead of tomorrow night's rugby match and have just discovered possibly the best snack, we've ever had (sorry Brets)

Seriously soggy in Antibes, a wild day yesterday, with the record rainfall for 24hrs ... Morning walk abandoned after 4km as we were already soaked, with water running down our legs into our shoes too, which are now drying out on the towel-rail ...

After the glorious blue skies of yesterday, today has been soggy, and windy, but it meant that our long walk around the Cap D'Antibes was rather spectacular ... It may take us a while to dry out !

Reworking some old curtains that I originally made nearly 20 years ago, to fit a different room here ... Had forgotten that when I made them, I had used another pair of curtains to add weight ... This is now going to be much more of a job than I imagined 😕🫣. . just 4 layers to get through
