Here’s a hint. There IS a law on that. More than one, actually. And they are really easy to find. Say, in any high school civics textbook.
Trump says he wants to send Americans to gulags in El Salvador: "I love that. If we could take some of our 20 time wiseguys that push people into subways ... if he would take them, I would be honored to give them. I don't know what the law says on that ... I'm all for it."

One of my all-time favorite authors. Luminous, irreverent writing with a respect for the glorious, goofy majesty all around us. Do yourself a favor and give him a read.

Trump's chaos is horrifyingly fascinating, and the legal challenges to his EOs are important, but increasingly that feels like a smoke screen (not that he'd know it) for the truly crazy capture of the US state by Musk that's currently going on.

Great, essential, read.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Pink at Fire Aid. So good, and for my money the best performance in a night full of them.

Did not predict a Nirvana reunion fronted by St. Vincent at Fire Aid, but that was awesome. I will also have to dig up the Pink cover of Led Zeppelin to watch again later.
