Finished my first ever Chessboard a couple months ago. Definitely learned a few things and now I want to make more

I’ve made a lot of progress on the chessboards. Found out I have just enough pieces left over to almost make a third, but I’ll post the one I finished soon.

So I was recently let go from my job in IT (long story for another day) but I decided to use this new found time to work on some projects I’ve never done before. So now I’m finally making a Chessboard, well 3 boards cause if you cut material for one might as well cut some extra

Decided to give this a try. Former full time photographer, now an IT Project Manager who does woodworking, 3d printing and content. Girl dad 2x and overall guy just trying to make sense of it all
