I think the worst thing about Gacha games aren't the predatory monetization practices but how they make such hot characters, give them one chapter's worth of content, and then act like they're old toys never worth playing with again.

I've been trying to think about why BlueSky doesn't quite capture the same vibe of pre-doomsday Twitter, and besides the fact that only a particular crowd decided to jump ship over here, BlueSky just doesn't have a strong culture of yapping like Twitter had.
