I’m finally very close to finishing my first dissertation copy. I can barely believe it. I feel there’s so much more I should have addressed but I’ll allow myself to be proud for some sense of completion!

Lost hours in the rabbit holes of the Ep. Files. The most disturbing part though is the total impunity.

A lovely woman I know told me the other day that since Avelo stopped flying for ICE, "We did it! We ended ICE Air!" Had to tell her Avelo was only about 15% of it.

Still going: Global X, Eastern Air, Journey, Key Lime/Denver Air, and Omni Air International ⤵️

I just switched my pharmacy. The new pharmacist looked at my bill and was clearly bothered for how much I still had to pay. “Diabetes is expensive,” I said. “On top of that, you still have to prove to need these meds all the time.” He couldn’t fix my bill, but his compassion felt like a kind hug.

Such a great webinar! So lucky I was there to share our insights to illuminate a more engaged, invigorated, and truly open-inquiry future for witchcraft studies! I can’t wait to see what new, exciting research will continue to unfold. Thanks @pennpress.bsky.social and everyone who joined us today 🥰

I’m so glad for the opportunity of publishing my piece among such outstanding scholars of early modern history of witchcraft!
Women did talk about witchcraft during the witch hunts, I’m telling you!

I just finished watching p1 of the last season of stranger things. 11’s conflict seems to me like a huge Christian tale of meditation as a seducing form of black magic, echoing renaissance fears of Eastern Belief.

Remember the immigrant friends that will spend Christmas alone, too afraid to go back home. This is the most difficult Christmas in the last few years.

Its extremely disturbing to be one minute so excited about my research and the next minute concerned about my family’s safety. It’s not about having a career at this point. This is what it feels like to do a PhD as a Latina in 2025.
